Courses

Studying in a foreign country offers you the unique chance to get to know a new academic culture and another perspective on your field of study. Once you are admitted as an exchange student at the LMU, we will fully support you in selecting courses that meet the requirements of your home university.

Course selection

The Department of Sociology offers various courses taught in German and English. You will find them in our course catalogue LSF, even without an LMU account.

The course catalogue for the current semester is only released two months before the lecture period begins. For this reason, we recommend you have a look through the courses offered in the past academic year for an idea of what might be offered in upcoming semesters.

You will receive detailed information on how to register for the courses you would like to attend during your stay before the semester begins.
